Was born on December 14, 1926 in Leningrad. In 1950 he graduated from the camera department of VGIK. Until 1955 - operator of the Lennauchfilm studio. Since 1955 - director of photography at the Lenfilm film studio. Teacher, professor, head of the department of camera art, St. Petersburg State University of Culture and Technology. Master of the Course of Film and Television Operators. Eduard Rozovsky has shot about 80 films. Among them: "Don Quixote", "Amphibian Man" (after filming this tape, a record appeared in his diving book about 465 hours spent under water), "White Sun of the Desert", "Old Walls", "Chief of Chukotka" "Pious Martha", "Silva", "Without a Family", "The Tale of a Painter in Love", "Don Cesar de Bazan" .
Eduard Rozovsky died in a car accident on July 26, 2011 in the Leningrad region. He was driving from St. Petersburg to Priozersk to his dacha and was buried at the cemetery in Komarovo near St. Petersburg on July 30.
