Born 1965 - American screenwriter and film director.
Wimmer attended the University of South Florida and graduated with a BA in art history. Then he moved to Los Angeles, where he worked for 12 years as a screenwriter, and then created his first film as a director - Equilibrium (2002). Even earlier, in 1995, he started shooting One Tough Bastard, but never finished. In 2006, he wrote and directed the film Ultraviolet.
