Thomas Jane - biography, date of birth, place of birth, filmography, clips, actor, director, producer, screenwriter.
Born on January 29, 1969 in the family of Cynthia and Michael Elliots, a new son, Thomas Elliot, arrived. Mother worked as an antiquarian, and father worked as a biogeneticist, so the family was not considered rich. In 1987, Thomas graduated from T.S. Wootona in Maryland. Since childhood, Thomas Jane has been drawn to art, unfortunately. Parents because of their financial situation could not help their son in any way. Therefore, Jane began his adult life as a street singer, having only 2 songs in his repertoire, given that he did not have a special voice, one should not be surprised that passers-by threw money so that he would quickly shut up. It was a difficult period in his life. Rumor has it that Thomas Jane had to seek help from the Salvation Army. As they say, everything has an end, soon the hard time passed, Thomas began to appear on the screen. In 1992. he starred in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (portraying Zef). In 1996-1997. played cameo roles in The Raven: City of Angels and Boogie Nights (played by Todd Parker). His next film was "No Face", which also starred John Travolta and Nicolas Cage. Thanks to this thriller, Thomas James was "born" for moviegoers. 1998 became very fruitful in terms of the roles played, and they were all varied and not quite "normal". For example, the role of a homosexual in the melodrama "Speedy Harry" or the role of Casey (a former drug dealer) in the movie "Bloody Thursday". The film "The Thin Red Line" was successful in terms of popularity of Thomas Jane. The film "Magnolia" (1999) passed the attention of moviegoers, probably because of the indifferent attitude of critics towards it. The next film "61 *" (played baseball legend Mickey Mantle), as a counterbalance to "Magnolia", won the hearts of viewers and film critics.
In 2001. Thomas Jane starred with Angelina Jolie and Antonio Banderas in Original Sin, naturally in a supporting role. But this role turned out to be much more successful than roles in the films "Cutie" (2002) with Cameron Diaz and "Dreamcatcher", since the box office was negligible. 2004 made Thomas Jane famous. Having played the role of Frank Castle in the movie "The Punisher", based on the comic strip "The Punisher", he won the hearts of many viewers. He portrayed the protagonist's desire for revenge so well that he earned a lot of positive responses. In 2006. Thomas Jane got a role in the action "Thieves", after him played in "Chronicles of Mutants", thanks to which he established himself as an actor of action films. By the way, in the same year Thomas Jane got married a second time (he was married to Aisha Hauer for the first time), Patricia Arquette became his chosen one. They now have a daughter, Harlow. Some time after The Chronicles ... his own film The Dark Country was released, thanks to which he became a star. Probably, like any star, Thomas Jane does not mind having a good drink. So, on March 17, 2008. for drunk driving he was arrested by the California police. And "drunk" is putting it mildly, since in his body alcohol was 0.8%, which is the highest mark adopted in California.
