Gosha Kutsenko was born in the Ukrainian city of Zaporozhye. The boy was born on May 20, 1967, his father was a civil servant, and his mother was a doctor. Soon the family moved to Lviv, where Gosha entered the institute after school, but later changed his mind and left to serve in the army. In 1988, Kutsenko left for Russia, studied acting in Moscow, after which he worked in the theater. In parallel with this, he acts in films.

The first film with Gosha Kutsenko was released in 1991 and was called The Mummy from a Suitcase. In this motion picture, the actor performed a small episode, and in the next ten motion pictures his roles were also small. In 1997, the comedy film Mama, Don't Cry !, in which the actor played one of the main roles, was released. In 2002, Kutsenko starred in the film Antikiller, shot in the action genre. Subsequently, the actor takes part in several sequels of the film. He takes part in the filming of the fantastic motion picture Night Watch and its sequel, plays the role of Ismail-bey in the motion picture Turkish Gambit, and plays in the philosophical comedy film Savages.

In 2007, two successful films with the participation of Kutsenko were released at once - the romantic comedy film Love-Carrot and the action-packed film Paragraph 78. As usual, the actor also appears in the sequels of these films. Kutsenko's even greater popularity was brought about by roles in such films as: the comedy film Exercises in the Beautiful, the melodramatic remake Kings Can Do Everything, the comedy film Daring Days.

Russian film awards were awarded the role of Gosha Kutsenko in such films as: a comedy film From 180 and above, a philosophical comedy film Savages, a romantic comedy film Love Carrot, as well as its sequel.

The actor is in his second marriage, he has two daughters.
