Jeffrey Charles William Michael Conaway was born on October 5, 1950 in New York (USalso|Read also about Oles Katsion.
A) and became the youngest of three children in the family.
Began his acting career as a child in 1960, playing a small role on Broadway in All the Way Home. He became famous in the cinema with the role of Bobby Wheeler from the television series Taxi, in which he starred during 1978-1982. For his role in this series in 1979 and 1980, Conaway was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor on TV. In the early 1990s, he also embarked on a career as a director, screenwriter and producer.
Was married twice, to Ron Newton-John and Kerry Young. He had no children.
In 2010, he fell, breaking his hip and cervical vertebra. Konaway underwent several operations, after which the actor constantly took painkillers. On May 11, 2011, as a result of the fact that the actor suffered from pneumonia and sepsis, he fell into a coma. On the 20th of May, the actor's family decided to disconnect him from the life support system, since, according to doctors, brain death occurred, and maintaining life was meaningless. 60-year-old Jeff Conaway passed away on May 27, 2011.
