He began his career in commercials. He has participated in a wide variety of advertising campaigns, collaborated with eBay, Cingular Wireless and Best Buy. Joel starred in a Siemens commercial that won the Advertising Award (Kansky Lion).
Moore's most famous roles are "Bouncers", "Ax" and "Avatar" .
He starred in Katy Perry's video for the song "Waking Up in Vegas" and also co-starred with Katy McPhee in the music video "It's Not Christmas Without You" for her album "Christmas Is the Time to Say I Love You" .
