Pascal Ferrand was born in Paris on April 17, 1960. Graduated from IDHEC in 1983. In 1983-1900 she worked in television. In 1994, she directed the first full-length feature film, Petite Deals with the Dead, from her own script, which received critical acclaim and was awarded the Golden Camera Award at the 1994 Cannes Film Festival.
In 2007, Pascal Ferrand's Lady Chatterley, based on David Herbert Lawrence's novel Lady Chatterley's Lover, won five Cesar awards, including Best Picture, Best Cinematography and Best Adapted Screenplay.
