April 28, 1929, Yalta, USSR (Russia) - March 2, 1988, Leningrad, USSR (St. Petersburg, Russia), real name - Vladimir - Soviet theater and film actor.

In 1949 he graduated from the school at the Moscow Chamber Theater.

Since 1952 he performed on the stage of the Leningrad Drama Theater. A.S. Pushkin, in 1966 he was invited by Georgy Tovstonogov to the Bolshoi Drama Theater, where he served until the end of his life.

Vadim Medvedev made his film debut in 1955 as Anton Zhurbin in the film Big Family. In the future, the aristocratic appearance and noble appearance contributed to invitations to heroic-romantic roles.
