Jamie Gillies was born in 1943 in the United States. When Gillis was twenty-seven years old, he graduated from New York Columbia University and began acting in a small city theater. He received little money for acting, so he had to additionally earn money as a taxi driver. At this time, the pornographic industry was booming in the United States. 70s even got their special name - the era of "porno" or "the golden age of porn."
