Graduated from the acting department of the Higher Theater School named after Shchukin at the Academic Theater. Evgenia Vakhtangova (1975). He worked in theaters in Nalchik (1975-1982). Since 1982 - at the Tver Drama Theater.

Zalim Mirzoev Honored Artist of Russia (2001).
