Born January 25, 1971, Manhattan, New York, USA - American actress.
Ortiz made her debut in the 1995 film Extreme Situation and later appeared on several television shows such as Everyone Loves Raymond, NYPD and Ambulance. Her first major role was in the short-lived 2001 sitcom Christine, where she played the heroine's best friend, Christine Chenoweth. She also starred in another short-lived sitcom, after which she had a minor role in the series "Boston Lawyers" .
In 2006, Ana Ortiz won the role of Ilda Suarez, the older sister of the main character in the TV series Ugly, for which she received the Imagen Awards and ALMA (2007). The show ended in 2010, after four seasons, and Ortiz soon returned to television with a role in the third season of The Stallion .
In 2012, Ortiz was invited to star in the series "Insidious Maids", where she plays a woman under the guise of a maid. The show started in June 2013 on Lifetime Channel.
