Started his film career in 2003. He performed several songs for the film "Everything I Love", where he played the main role. In 2010, at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival, Mateusz was awarded the Zbigniew Cybulski Prize for Best Actor in the film Mother Teresa of Cats.
