Born July 25, 1967 in Los Angeles, California, USA is an American actress and producer.
Graduated in 1989 with a BA from Howard University. She made her television debut in 1993 on the sitcom Martin, after which she continued to perform comedic roles in various shows, among which were Like in a Movie, Yes, Darling! and The New Adventures of Old Christine. Robinson had dramatic roles in the series NYPD and Grey's Anatomy.
Robinson is best known for her roles in the television sitcom The Steve Harvey Show (1996-2002) and The Game (since 2006). She also appeared in Girlfriends, a spin-off of The Game. These roles earned her a total of nine NAACP award nominations before she won her first award in 2014.
Outside of television, Robinson played the female lead in the 2005 film Rebound, opposite Martin Lawrence.
