Born July 9, 1973 in Miami in a family of Cuban immigrants. He studied at Christopher Columbus High School (Miami), then at Tulane University (New Orleans), began his studies at the New England School of Law (Boston), but dropped out, preferring a career as an actor. In 1996 he moved to Los Angeles, has been acting in films since 1997, on television since 1999.
In 2006, People magazine ranked Enrique Murciano in seventh out of sixteen on its annual list of Sexiest Men Living. From 2008 to 2011, he dated English model and actress Lily Cole.
