Born September 14, 1970 - American actor and former baseball player.
Bishop was born in Chicago and graduated from the University of California at Riverside, where he played on the baseball team from 1991-1992, and in 1993 he signed with the Atlanta Braves. He retired in 1995.
In the 2000s, Bishop began his acting career appearing in the TV series Girlfriends, The Game, Siblings, Grey's Anatomy and Lost. He has also appeared in several movies, including Into the Glory (2004), The Man Who Changed Everything (2011) and Cape Town Passcode (2012). Bishop is best known for playing the main character's love interest played by Gabrielle Union on the BET series Being Mary Jane, where he has been filming since 2013. In 2015, he also played Regina Hall's love interest in the Lifetime film Marry at Any Cost.
