Born April 3, 1979 in Rome. She studied at Socrates High School. In 2005, she made her television debut in The Team, in which she played the role of agent Anna de Luca for several seasons. In 2008, the actress joined the main cast of the series "Police Station", in which she played the role of inspector Elena Argenti.
In 2011, Anna starred in Missimiliano Bruno's film Sex for money, love for free. For her role in this film, Anna was nominated for the David di Donatello and Silver Ribbon awards .
In 2012, the actress played the role of Adele in Neri Perenty's film Lightning Strikes, for which she again received a Silver Ribbon nomination. In 2015, Folletta received her second nomination for the David di Dontetello Award for her role in Julia and Us.
