Born March 14, 1974, Jerusalem, Israel is an American screenwriter, director and producer.
He graduated from Maimonides High School and Harvard College, where he wrote for Harvard Lampoon.
His first scripts to go into development were written in 1995 and 1997 for the series Beavis and Butt-head. Since then, he has written several screenplays for Michael Judge, including for the TV series King of the Hill from 2001-2005 and for the 2006 film Idiocracy. In the late 1990s, he wrote scripts for two other television series: the animated Recess and the short-lived It's Like You Know ... (It's like, you know ...). After working on Idiocracy, he wrote the script for an episode of the hit American Daddy! called "Failure is not a Factory-Installed Option".
In 2008, Cohen co-wrote the action-comedy Soldiers of Failure with Ben Stiller and Justin Theroux. He also wrote Madagascar 2 and is currently working on a Sherlock Holmes film version with Sacha Baron Cohen and Will Ferrell.
