Parkinson's mother Manovia founded the art school, which Art and his two older brothers Pearce and Padhraig attended from an early age. Outside of filming, Parkinson enjoys playing soccer with his high school friends. In one of the interviews, Art mentioned that his parents did not allow him to watch "Game of Thrones" because of the adult rating, except for scenes in which he took part directly.
