Born May 1, 1967, Honolulu, Hawaii, USA - American actor, director, screenwriter and producer.

At sixteen, having earned money, he went to Europe. Inspired by Bernardo Bertolucci's film The Moon (1979), he felt obligated to visit Rome along with Paris and Budapest. He spent three years attending high school in Rome and performing in seven films, including Once Upon a Time in America and the CBS television miniseries Christopher Columbus. While filming the series, he signed with William Morris's agency, moved to New York, where he signed with the agency, and improved his acting skills, starring in the non-Broadway play It's All Talk.

A year later he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his film career, in which he has been working ever since. He has starred in Ferris Bueller's Day Off and SpaceCamp. His work on television includes appearing on the TV series Amazing Stories in the episode "Go to the Head of the Class" (1986) directed by Robert Zemeckis, as well as in the second season of the first revival of the series "The Twilight Zone" in the episode "Private Channel "(1987).

The feature film Ellie Parker (with Coffey Scott as scriptwriter, director and producer) was completed in July 2005, was officially selected for the Sundance Film Festival and won the New American Special Jury Award that same year. Cinema at the Seattle International Film Festival. The film was released at the end of 2005 by Strand Releasing. He wrote the screenplay for another film based on the novel by Haruki Murakami "All the Dances of the Children of God", also known as "After the Earthquake."
