Since 2008, the career of the popular Ukrainian group Nikita has started. Its constant participant is Dasha Astafieva, who, together with Yulia Kavtaradze, was part of the first team. But in 2011, Kavtaradze left the group, and Anastasia Kumeiko replaced her. Through the casting, the third participant was selected - Yulia Brichkovskaya. In this composition, since 2012, the girls have been working to this day.
The choice of the name of the band became interesting. Its producer is Yuri Nikitin, which is why Dasha Astafieva proposed to name the group in his honor. At first, Yuri was against such an idea, but after all he decided that the name was suitable because it had a double meaning. For Nikitin, it is also associated with the image of a girl - a secret agent. This fit perfectly into the concept of the Nikita group. This is the image that girls carry - sexy, daring, but at the same time feminine.
The girls' musical debut took place in 2008 with a song called "Machine". It is known that this track became one of the most downloaded of the year. The scandalous reputation brought true popularity to the group, the participants are especially frank in music videos. So, for example, in 2009 they starred in a video completely naked. The shooting took place at night in one of the shopping centers in Odessa, which was not specially closed, because random visitors, who did not hide their emotions, also got into the frame. 2010 is notable for the fact that the lead singer of the Nikita group was invited by the controversial Hugh Hefner, they performed at a private party, and also visited the Playboy estate. In the same 2010, one of the soloists of the group, Dasha Astafieva, starred in the title role of one of the short films of the film almanac Lovers in Kiev.
