Born February 24, 1971, Kansas City, Missouri, USA - American writer and former television critic for Entertainment Weekly.
Graduated from the University of Kansas with a BA in English and Journalism. After two years at a trade magazine in California, she moved to Chicago. She received her master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Realizing that she could not cope with the profession of a crime reporter she dreamed of, she moved to New York and got a job at Entertainment Weekly, where she ended up working for 10 years.
