Born February 27, 1948 - French actor.
He spent his childhood in Latin America.
Returned to France and studied theater at a drama course with Jean-Laurent Cochet. He performed in the theater as a dancer, mime and comedian.
In the early 70s his film career began. He played his first role in Jean-Francois Bizot's film La route (1972). By the mid-70s, Atkin's career had already acquired an international dimension, when he appeared, in particular, as a Russian soldier in Woody Allen's film Love and Death (1974), as well as Sidney Pollack in the film Bobby Deerfield (1978 ).
Speaks seven languages, including Russian, Japanese and Catalan.
In the film by Pedro Almodovar "High Heels" (1991) played the unfaithful husband of Victoria Abril.
