Co-director of such commercially successful Pixar projects as Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo. In 2010, Ankrich made his directorial debut in Toy Story: The Big Escape, for which he received an Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film. Ankrich received another Oscar in the same nomination on March 4, 2018 for the painting The Secret of Coco.
