Born July 12, 1975, Miami, Florida is an American producer, screenwriter, director, and actor.
Graduated with honors from Dartmouth College in 1997 with a degree in Art History.
Lord's student work in the short animated feature Man Bites Breakfast won Best Animated Feature at the New England Festival.
He made his screenwriting debut in 1999 on Zoe, Duncan, Jack and Jane.
While filmmaking, Phil Lord directed Cloudy with Chance of Meatballs, which won a Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature and four Annie nominations.
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller created cartoons together early in their careers at Dartmouth College, where they gained the attention of the Walt Disney Company.
