Born January 15, 1960 in Beaumont, Texas is an American film director, actor, screenwriter, and artist.
At 17, he enrolled at the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts), and after graduation he went to work at Walt Disney Studios as an artist. Over time, Kelly Esbury continued his career as a director. He has credited such animation films Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, Gnomeo & Juliet, Untitled Smurfs Movie, Spirit : Soul of the Prairie (Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron).
For the film "Shrek 2" (Shrek 2) Kelly Esbury was nominated for "Oscar" 2004.
