Born October 28, 1980, USA - American film director, producer, screenwriter and editor.

Ball has established himself in film and as a graphic designer and visual effects master. His film debut took place in 2002. Wes acted as director of photography on Shane Sawer's eight-minute short film, Oliver's Music, and edited Dan DeGizes's short drama Time for Change. In the same year, Wes Ball completed work on his debut film, a short film he created from his own script, Jacob: The Movie. This time, Dan DeGizes was the editor of his film, and he himself also became the production designer for his debut film project.

A few months later, Wes presented another short, the eight-minute animated film "The Work Continues", which he also produced as a screenwriter and editor.

Exactly ten years later Ball became the author of another short animated film "Ruins", and two years later, in 2014, his feature film "The Maze Runner" finally made its debut. This is a dystopian thriller created by Ball based on the book of the same name by contemporary American writer James Deschner. American actor Dylan O'Brien and his British colleagues Thomas Sangster and Kaya Scodelario played the main roles in this film. The film received mixed reviews from viewers, however, the producers of the tape clearly announced the planned sequel. The sequel to the thriller "The Maze Runner: Trial by Fire" is promised to be shown to interested movie gourmets by the end of 2015. Wes Ball will again act as a director, and in the main roles, in addition to the three actors known from the previous tape, Natalie Emmanuelle and Aidan Gillen will be seen.
