Born in Paris, comes from an ancient aristocratic family. She studied with Jean-Laurent Cochet together with Gerard Depardieu. She married the latter on April 11, 1970. In this marriage, she gave birth to two children - Guillaume and Julie. She starred with her husband in films such as Tartuffe (1984), Jean de Florette (1986), The Boy (1990). In 1996, Gerard and Elisabeth Depardieu divorced.
