Born June 17, 1973, Paris is a French film director, actor and producer based in Hollywood.
In his youth, Louis shot amateur experimental short films, then studied advertising and public relations for a while, and then went overseas to study film directing at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
In 1997, Leterrier worked as an assistant director for Jean-Pierre Jeunet on the set of "Alien: Resurrection".
Upon his return to France with Luc Besson, Leterrier directed commercials and films "Joan of Arc" and "The Transporter".
