Born November 22, 1964, Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - American actor, producer, director and screenwriter.
At the beginning of his career he played on the stage. In 1984, he was nominated for a Broadway's Tony Award for Best Lead in a Musical for his role in a play based on Shakespeare's The Human Comedy. For the same role, he received the World Theater Award in 1984.
Geoffreys appeared in several horror and teen films in the 1980s, most notably "Heaven Help Us!" ("Heaven Help Us") as well as "Fraternity Vacation" and "Devil's Phone" ("976-EVIL") in 1989. He also played a supporting role in the 1986 drama "At Close Range". He rose to fame for his role as Ed in the classic vampire horror film Fright Night. Some critics have suggested that Jeffrey's refusal to star in the sequel to Fright Night was the biggest mistake in his career.
