Born May 27, 1971, USA is an American screenwriter, director, producer and actor.
Studied the art of cinematography at the Pratt Institute, where he met his future associate and colleague John Requa. After graduating from college, they worked together on animation for the Nickelodeon television channel, and then decided to write scripts. Glenn and John argued over the genre for a long time, but in the end they settled on comedies.
In 2001, their debut film Cats vs. Dogs was released, directed by Terry Zwigoff. In the story, the feud between pets takes on the proportions of the Cold World War.
In 2003, the writers presented the comedy Bad Santa, and six years later they made their directorial debut. Ficarra and Recua made the film I Love You Phillip Morris, based on a true story.
The plot is based on the life of con man Stephen Jay Russell, as described by journalist Steve McVeeker in his book I Love You Phillip Morris: A True Story of Life, Love and Prison Escapes.
