June 29, 1931 - May 8, 1999 - American actor, mainly working on dubbing cartoons.
Gilbert served in the army during the Korean War, then worked in several low-paying jobs in Florida. He got on television in the mid-1960s, played small roles in various series. The first regular role - Fenton Hardy, father of Joe and Frank in the television series "The Brothers Hardy and Nancy Drew", which aired in 1977-1979. Since the mid-1980s, Gilbert has mainly worked on the voiceover of cartoons and television series. Discharge spoke in his voice, as well as some other robots in the TV series "Transformers". Gilbert voiced the bear Baloo in Miracles on the Curves, Sage Fasir in Aladdin, Mandarin in Iron Man, Dormammu in Spider-Man, General Hawk in GI Joe.
