Formed in 1989 in Vallejo, California by Johnny Z (John Zunino), JT (James Trujillo) and TL (Timothy Lyon). While attending college in Sacramento, Johnny Z began producing hip-hop and after graduating and moving back to Vallejo, TL mentioned Johnny's inspirational rapper JT (James Trujillo). The trinity began composing and demos of hip-hop and performing concerts initially as, 3Deep. Soon, Johnny Z decided to work strictly behind the scenes and at the end of the music and production, while JT and TL performed vocals and live performances.
