Born January 13, 1961 - American actress and comedian, widely known for her key roles in the comedy television series Seinfeld, The New Adventures of Old Christine and Vice President .
She became famous after appearing on Saturday Night Live in the early 1980s. In 1989, Louis-Dreyfus played the role of Elaine Benes in the TV series Seinfeld. The role earned her Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards for nine seasons. In 2002, the actress and her husband released Watch Ellie, which ran for two seasons. After acting on shows such as Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arrested Development, Louis-Dreyfus won her second Emmy for her role as Christina Campbell in The New Adventures of Old Christine, which ran for five seasons. In 2010, the actress received a personalized star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contribution to the development of television broadcasting.
