Born August 31, 1974, Bloomington, Indiana is an American film director, screenwriter, and producer.
Graduated from Madison West High School, and then entered Colorado College, New York University and after graduation studied at the University of Wisconsin.
Webb's first feature film, 500 Days of Summer, was released in 2009 and was well received by critics and audiences. Prior to that, Webb worked as a music video maker and shot over a hundred videos for dozens of popular artists. In January 2010, Columbia Pictures signed Webb for the filming of The Amazing Spider-Man, the reboot of the first franchise directed by Sam Raimi. The film was released in the summer of 2012 and starred by Andrew Garfield.
