Born April 9, 1952, North Carolina, USA - American playwright, screenwriter and producer.
Educated at Yale College and Yale Drama School; in the same institutions, he later became a teacher.
Talley's best-known work is the screenplay for The Silence of the Lambs, for which he received an Academy Award for Best Screenplay, as well as a Screenwriters Guild Award, a Chicago Film Critics Association Award and an Edgar Allan Poe Award from US mystical authors.
