December 11, 1930, Madrid - April 4, 2016, Almeria is a Spanish film and television actress. Winner of the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Actress. Laureate of the 1993 Goya Award for Best Supporting Actor and multiple nominees for this award.
Lampreave has appeared in more than fifty films, with the most eminent Spanish directors, and is in demand on television. Success came to her in the 1980s thanks to her collaboration with Pedro Almodovar, she starred in ten of his films. In 1993, Lampreave was awarded the Goya Prize for Best Supporting Actor in Fernando Trueba's Graceful Era. For her work in the film "The Return" by Pedro Almodovar, the actress, along with her partners Penelope Cruz, Carmen Maura, Lola Duenas, Blanca Portillo, Yoana Cobo, was awarded the Cannes Film Festival prize for Best Actress.
