Alice Cooper, whose real name is Vincent Damon Fournier, was born on February 4, 1948 in Detroit. From childhood, the boy showed great interest in music. Although Vince devoted a lot of time to sports. During his school years, Vincent met several guys, and they created a parody musical group in which they sang songs of the legendary Beatles. Later they achieved impressive success among school youth, renamed the group The Spiders. Already in 1965, the guys released their first recording. And in 1966 they recorded the legendary song "Don't Blow Your Mind", which became their first hit. This song was included on the air of local radio, but later it got into the world sound. Beginning in 1967, the band began touring Los Angeles and later throughout California.

The group developed and it was noticeable. They later chose a new name for themselves, Alice Cooper, and Vincent took it as a pseudonym. Since 1970, the group began acting in films. The first movie with Alice Cooper was called Diary of a Mad Housewife. From that moment on, the group was often invited to star in cameo roles. The last movie starring Alice Cooper was called Bigfoot, which was filmed in 2012. Alice Cooper's popularity peaked in 1975. It was then that the group released whole albums one by one. They were sold out at lightning speed. During its existence, the group broke up once, as the composition of the team was constantly changing, and there were frequent disagreements between the participants.

So, the group in 1975 officially ceased to exist. But already in the 1990s, Alice Cooper signed a new contract, which was confirmation that the group would still continue its creative path. Also in early 1990, the band's frontman Cooper starred in the film of the same name, Nightmare on Elm Street, and took part in the recording of the new album of the popular band Guns N 'Roses. In 2000, Cooper, along with his group, released a couple of very interesting studio recordings, which immediately became hits on many radio stations. This group has made a huge contribution to the history of rock over its long existence. A whole generation of rock musicians has grown up on their songs.
