Born December 6, 1948 - American actress, director and producer.
She attended Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, preparing to become a child psychologist, but then decided to devote herself to acting, and subsequently moved to New York, where she began a career in film and television. After several television roles, she made her film debut in 1979 in Kramer vs. Kramer .
She is best known for her roles in the films Rampant Crazy (1980), The Big Disappointment (1983), Poltergeist (1982) and its sequel Poltergeist II.
