Born May 1, 1966, Detroit, Michigan is an American film director, actress, and choreographer.

Early in her film career, Anne appeared as a choreographer in The Flinstones (1994), The Mask (1994), Tank Girl (1995). The first film directorial work was Step Up.

In February 2010 it was revealed that Walt Disney Pictures had appointed her as the director of Enchanted 2.
