Born November 13, 1967, Ludhiana, Punjab, India is an Indian actress and producer working predominantly in the Hindi film industry.
Graduated from JJ Montessori Bombay Elementary School of Jesus and Mary Monastery, St. Xavier's College and Sydenh College. Since childhood, she has kept her secret dream - to become an actress.
In 1984 Juhi won the Miss India title. Took part in the Miss Universe contest and was awarded the best costume.
Then she worked as a model and starred in several films. Her very first film in Hindi earned her a Filmfare Award for Best Debut and a nomination for Best Actress. But only after the painting "Towards Love" real fame came to her.
In 2002, together with Shah Rukh Khan and husband Jai Mehta, she founded the Dreamz Unlimited film company, and in 2004 Shah Rukh Khan reorganized it with Gauri Khan into Red Chillies Entertainment. Juhi Chawla and Jai Mehta are co-owners of Red Chillies Entertainment.
