Born July 28, 1941 - Canadian voice and television actor.
Father - Henry L. Cullen, mother - Muriel McKan, brother - Larry Cullen, captain of the United States Marine Corps (d. 2011), sister - Michaela Tomlinson.
In 1963 he graduated from the National Theater School of Canada, becoming one of the first graduates of this institution. For the first time appeared on television in 1967, playing the role of Commander BB Latuk in the TV series "Friends", since the late 1970s he has voiced cartoons. In 2006, he was signed to Paramount Pictures, pledging to voice Optimus Prime for the next three films; started writing an autobiography. Cullen was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award in 2011 for voicing Transformer Optimus Prime, but did not receive an award. Since 2011, the voice of the actor (Optimus Prime) has been heard in the attractions of Transformers: The Ride.
Peter Cullen has three children: Clay (became a stuntman), Claire and Pilar.
