Born December 16, 1964, Plymouth, North Carolina, USA - American actor, screenwriter and stand-up comedian. Smoo has had a recurring role on the television series Everybody Hates Chris and Saturday Night Live. At SNL, he mainly worked as a screenwriter and starred in some issues. He had a starring role during the second and third seasons on the television series Happily Ever After with Brad Garrett and Joely Fisher. In July 2010, Smoove appeared on the show Russell Simmons Presents: Stand-Up at The El Rey on Comedy Central, and in 2011 he also appeared in The Simpsons in Angry Dad: The Movie, American Dad, and Daredevil. In 2007, Smoove landed a regular role, Leon Black, in the HBO comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm. He appeared in Movie 43 as part of The Proposal alongside Anna Faris and Chris Pratt, and in 2013 he voiced the character in The Smurfs II. JB has appeared in the TV series Castle, Louis, Chicago Police, Divorced Millers and many others. In addition, in 2013, an improvisational show "Real Husbands of Hollywood" was released with his participation, as well as a talk show on MSG called JB Smoove: Four Courses.
