Born March 12, 1946 in Denver - American film and voice actor.
After graduating from high school, he moved to California, where he entered Santa Monica College. It was there that his first notable stage success awaited him - for the role of the Cowardly Lion in the production of The Wizard of Oz. His voice first appeared on television in a commercial for Friskies dog food when Frank was graduating from college. On that set, he learned from the producer's girlfriend that Hanna-Barbera is currently auditioning for a role in the new animated series Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! As a result, Frank Welker became the voices of Scooby-Doo and Fred Jones for decades. In other films, Frank regularly voiced all kinds of animals, gremlins, dinosaurs and other creatures.
In 1972, viewers first saw the face of Frank Welker - he starred in the western "Dirty Little Billy".
