Born on November 8, 1986 (28 years old) in Notre Dame de Grasse, a small area of ??Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Her mother, Kan-Tineta Horn, is a former fashion model and political activist, and her father is a lawyer. Kanyehtio has six sisters, one of whom, Wanick Horn-Miller, was the captain of the Canadian women's water polo team at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Kanyehtio also did a lot of swimming and water polo as a child. Graduated from Dawson College in 2005 with a degree in theater arts.
