Born September 27, 1947 - American rock singer, film and theater actor.
In 1965, Marvin graduated from high school and attended Lubbock Christian College, but then transferred to North Texas State University. In his autobiography, Marvin states that after his mother died, his drunken father tried to kill him with a knife, and he was barely able to escape to save his life. In 1967, Marvin moved to Los Angeles and worked as a bouncer at a nightclub for a while.
In Los Angeles, Marvin founded his first band Meat Loaf Soul, received three offers, but turned down all three. The group often changed guitarists, she herself also called herself by different names: Popcorn Blizzard or Floating Circus. Under the name Floating Circus, the band supported The Who, The Stooges, The Fugs and others.
