Raekwon is a popular American rapper from the East Coast who is one of the members of the Wu-Tang Clan's musical education.
Corey Woods (the rapper's real name) is from Brooklyn. The boy grew up in the pastor's family.
In '95, Corey became a member of the rather successful hardcore hip-hop education Wu-Tang Clan. As part of it, he and the musicians recorded the full-length "Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers", which brought resounding success to the band. A little later, Raekwon released his debut solo album "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx ...". The full-length album was published in 1995 and reached the gold status in sales.
The album, published by Corey Woods, made a tangible impact from all of the Wu-Tang Clan members' own projects. All this thanks to his peculiar cinematic imagination, as well as the creation of an original album format in the style of a story about the sale of cocaine, the activities of drug dealers and the high importance of the outlaw industry. Some projects from famous artists such as Jay-Z, Nas, took the style of this album as a model for their work.
