Jackie started singing when she was 8 years old after watching the music film The Phantom of the Opera. Her mother, after hearing Jackie singing songs from the musical, allowed her to enter a local talent competition. Jackie took second place in the competition and won the Audience Award. Over time, she took part in other talent contests and was selected for YouTube.
In August 2010, Jackie Ivanko was selected on YouTube and appeared on America's Got Talent TV show (Russian counterpart - “Minute of Glory”). She sang "Time To Say Goodbye - Andrea Bocelli", her performance made a splash. As a result, Jackie made it to the "Top 10" list, then "Top 4" and finally reached the final in which she finished second, losing to Michael Grimm.
On June 20, 2012, on Palace Square in St. Petersburg, she performed with Dmitry Hvorostovsky and Sumi Yo, accompanied by a symphony orchestra conducted by Sarah Hicks.
