Rock band from North Carolina, founded and promoted by American Idol finalist Chris Daughtry since 2006. Their self-titled album "Daughtry", released in 2006, hit the Billboard 200, selling over 4 million copies and voted one of the best-selling albums of 2007 by Billboard. It also became the best-selling rock album in Soundscan history. The first single from this album, "It's Not Over", became the eighth most popular on American radio in 2007, while their second single, "Home", reached the tenth. Their second album, "Leave This Town", was released on July 14, 2009. The single "No Surprise" was released on July 5 of the same year. The debut album has sold 5 million copies worldwide and has sold 7.1 million singles.
