She was born in Stockholm. The youngest child in the family (sister - Malu, brother - Jonas). She got into show business as a child, having played the main role in a musical. In 1998, when Marie studied at a choreographic school, the producers of the record label Stockholm Records drew attention to her, recruiting participants for a new project. So she got into the teenage pop group A * Teens, in which she gained great fame in Sweden and visited many countries around the world. Rumors of her solo career appeared long before the group's disbandment, which actually happened in 2004.
