Born June 21, 1979, Virginia, Minnesota is an American film and television actor.
Pratt spent his childhood and adolescence in Washington DC, wrestling in high school.
After leaving school, Pratt went to college, leaving after finishing his first semester. As a result, he worked as a ticket salesman and stripper, but became homeless. He often slept in a van and a tent on the beach. 19-year-old Pratt was spotted by actress Ray Don Chong, and in 2001 he got his first role in the TV series "Widower's Love", after which he was invited to shoot the series "Lonely Hearts". At first, Chris established himself as a television actor, and made his film debut only in 2005, in the film "Free will life" (Strangers with Candy).
Chris Pratt auditioned for the lead role in James Cameron's Avatar, but it went to Sam Worthington. Instead, Pratt starred in Bride Wars and Jennifer's Body.
In 2011, the actor had weight problems, but with the support of his wife, he lost 14 kg and was approved for the role in the film "The Man Who Changed Everything", which later made him famous in big movies.
